Premier League Match Time: Wolves Vs West Ham

Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to host West Ham United in a Premier League match on Saturday afternoon.

Wolves haven't had a victory in their last six games played; they have actually lost four in a row, and are currently ranked just above their Saturday rivals on the points table. A similar run of losses preceded Wolves relegation six years ago, in April of that year.

West Ham had a similar run of losses in their first four matches of the ongoing season, incidentally their worst ever start, but have since settled down, with a win and two draws.

Only goal difference separates the two teams, who have an equal number of points after seven games. In last season's league matches the teams won one apiece, with each team winning the away encounter.

In the game against West Ham on Saturday, Wolves will not have the services of the following players who are sidelined owing to injury: Kightly, Hunt, Zuber and Guediora. Stephen Hunt could play his first game for Wolves. It has been four months since Hunt joinde the Molineux squad. A broken leg that kept Hunt out of action has healed and in the absence of Karl Henry serving a sspension after a red card in the Wigan game, Hunt could partner Kevin Doyle up front.

Mick McCarthy could look to midfielder Matthew Jarvis as the key man against Avram Grant's squad in what is clearly a must-win game for both sides.

West Ham also have injury concerns with the following players yet to recover from their respective injuries: Hitzlsperger, Hines, Collison and Kurucz. Valon Behrami, earlier on the injured list is said to have recovered and could feature in the match against Wolves. Behrami's knee injury kept him out of the last three games.

The following players comprised the starting eleven in the Wanderers' match against Wigan Athletic on October 2: Marcus Hahnemann, Kevin Foley, Jody Craddock, Christophe Berra, Stephen Ward, David Edwards, Karl Henry, Michael Mancienne, Matthew Jarvis, Kevin Doyle, Steven Fletcher.

The substitutes were: George Elokobi, Richard Stearman, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, David Jones, Jelle Van Damme, Wayne Hennessey, Marcus Bent.

The following men were in West Ham's starting eleven in their October 2 match against Fulham: Robert Green, Lars Jacobsen, Manuel da Costa, Matthew Upson, Danny Gabbidon, Pablo Barrera, Mark Noble, Luis Boa Morte, Obinna, Frederic Piquionne.

The substitutes were: Carlton Cole, James Tomkins, Marek Stech, Radoslav Kovac, Junior Stanislas, Benni McCarthy, Herita Llunga.
